CONGRATULATIONS!! WVH SHAREHOLDERS WIN IN A LANDSLIDE VOTE CHOOSE PERFORMANCE SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT AS THE ENERGY AUDITOR!
On April 12th, 2012, I was proud to be a part of an overwhelming turnout of fellow Residents(Shareholders and Investors “we” are both) After much deliberation we as good and honest body of shareholders chose a company not based on “special interest or hidden agenda” but for quality, expertise and performance! This company was the inventor and originator of the very software energy auditing companies use today and have thus set the benchmark in energy auditing and training! It was also refreshing to see that our board chose recognize that “we as a community” have intelligence, talent, expertise, wisdom and tenacity to seek out what is best for us as a community as opposed to a decision limited by only a very small handful of people. I can only hope thatthis is a new page and that our board will further exercise this wisdomand broaden the scope and availability for shareholders to vote onfuture issues of any magnitude with an agenda to benefit the majority as we achieved this evening. The process can and does work when it is observed and executed! Once again CONGRATULATIONS!
Rise to the Future
A Redevelopment Reflection – Part II
Written by Joe Nardelli
Resident Shareholder WVH
I was asked a question recently by a fellow WVH shareholder who lives on Site #3.
Does anyone know why they [Wykoff] have halted construction again [on the Whitehall
project] now for several weeks?
This shareholder and other WVH shareholders have asked many questions about the
status of the Whitehall project, which over the last year, seems to have intensified
awareness of the diminishing quality of life here at WVH as well as general interest in
real estate development in the far West Village.
My thoughts, initially fueled by my own ideas about redevelopment were reignited by
statements made by our own newly appointed “real estate exploratory committee” at
the April 18th, 2012 bi‐annual Shareholder’s meeting ‐ hosted by the board. The new
committee reminded me it was now time to present RISE TO THE FUTURE: A
Redevelopment Reflection ‐ Part II. Here I pose yet another view of potential
redevelopment here at West Village Houses.
